Michelle grew up in the eastern plains of Colorado and is the next to last child in a family of five children. She graduated from Colorado State University with honors in Biology. Michelle then attended the University of Colorado Medical School before completing her Pediatric Residency at The Children's Hospital, Denver. While at The Children's Hospital she served as Chief Resident. She then worked at The Children's Hospital Gateway Pediatric Clinic before opening Centennial Pediatrics. Michelle is married and has three children. She enjoys running and hiking in her spare time.

Jennifer Tiehen, MD, completed her pediatric training at Children’s Hospital Colorado and joined Pediatrics 5280 in August 2012. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. She is dedicated to providing quality care to children throughout the Centennial, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch area.

Kirk G. Bouzarelos, MD, grew up in Colorado, graduated from Colorado State University, and earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He trained at Dallas Children’s Hospital, completing both a pediatric residency and a sports medicine fellowship. After returning to Colorado, he practiced in Summit County for three years before joining Pediatrics 5280 in 2001. He is dedicated to providing quality care to children throughout the Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Parker area.

Liesl G. Young, MD, joined Pediatrics 5280 in 2007. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1997 and completed her pediatric training at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri in 2000. Prior to joining Pediatrics 5280, she worked at The Children’s Hospital Urgent Care in Aurora, CO and had a private practice in Castle Rock, CO. Dr. Young is dedicated to providing quality care to children throughout the Centennial, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch area.

Michele Wallendal, MD, is a pediatrician that has practiced with Pediatrics 5280 since 1996. Prior to that, she provided emergency-room care at The Children’s Hospital in Denver. Dr. Wallendal completed her undergraduate studies at University of Virginia, earned her medical degree from Duke University, and did her residency at The Children’s Hospital in Denver. She is dedicated to providing quality pediatric care to children throughout the Centennial, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch area.

Olivia Puccio, MD, grew up in Houston, graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Medical University of South Carolina prior to transferring and completing her training at Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2023. She looks forward to joining Pediatrics 5280 in September 2023! Outside of medicine, she enjoys all the outdoor opportunities Colorado offers, spending time with her fiance, and cuddling her two cats with a book in hand.
